PolyX Effect

PolyX Effect -  Silver Flammable - Pick up from Natural Timber Oils Epping only.

Polyx Oil "Effect"  special effect Polyx Oil tints containing silver particles. Optimally suited for the decorative finish of darker wooden flooring such as jarrah and smoked oak etc.

A transparent matt finish which is dirt resistant and water repellent. The finish is micro-porous, and will not crack, peel or flake. Resistant against wine, beer, cola, coffee, tea, fruit juice, milk and water. When dry, the finish is safe for humans, animals and plants. Suitable for children's toys, cots and bassinets etc, as the dry finish is resistant against saliva and perspiration.

Osmo Polyx Oil "Effect" can be used on light coloured timbers, however, to get the special effect of the silver sparkle, the floor needs to be stained black first, using Osmo Woodwax Creative Black (3169) as the base coat, prior to applying a top coat of silver "Effect".

( base coat of 3169 or 3590 if it's light timber. 3169 if it's softwood or 3590 is if it's hardwood.)

Coverage is approximately 30 square metres per litre.
