Teak in its natural state is virtually maintenance free. Over time, untreated teak furniture which is exposed to the sun will patina and turn a silvery, grey colour. This process is cosmetic and does not harm the strength or quality of the teak. Teak outdoor furniture can be protected with OSMO oils to retain the original honey colour of the timber if you choose.
Material: This Teak Bench has been made from solid plantation grown teak. This teak has been kiln-dried to 12-15% moisture content before manufacture. This is to reduce the chance of the teak splitting after manufacture.
