Wash and Care

In most instances, sweeping your floor using a soft broom, or the Opti-Set dust mop, is all that is required for day to day maintenance.

If your floor is in need of a damp mopping to remove surface dirt etc, OSMO's Wash and Care is the ideal general cleaner. Just add a capful to 5 litres of warm water, and use a damp mop or the Opti-Set micro mop. For more stubborn stains, the cleaner can be used neat from the container.

Wash and Care can also be used on any flooring surface which has been varnished or polyurethaned etc. It can also be used to clean polished concrete, slate, stone and sealed teracotta surfaces.

Maintaining surfaces finished with OSMO Polyx Oil

The key to getting the best from your OSMO finished floor over its lifetime, is to use the correct maintenance products which will care for, and protect the timber. Caring for the floor should include:

Regular sweeping with a soft broom to remove dust and dirt.
Regular damp mopping the floor using Wash and Care.
Occasional maintenance and reconditioning of high traffic areas using the Liquid Wax Cleaner
Repair of damaged surfaces using a thin coat of Polyx Oil.

The use of the Opti Set for smaller areas, or a FloorXcentre machine for larger areas is recommended.
